Getting a SerpApi key

LeadHunterAI runs searches through your own SerpApi account, so you'll need a key from serpapi.com. Sign up there, copy your API key from their dashboard, and keep it handy for the next step.

Entering your key in LeadHunterAI

Open LeadHunterAI's settings and paste your SerpApi key in. This ties all searches to your own account and your own usage limits — nothing is shared with other LeadHunterAI users.

Running your first search

Type any business category and any city — for example, "Plumbers" and "Chicago" — and start the search. LeadHunterAI queries Google Maps for matching listings and streams results into the app as they come in.

Exporting to CSV

Once a search finishes, results export automatically to a CSV file you choose, with each business's name, address, and website ready to open in Excel or import anywhere else.

Troubleshooting

No results for a search: try a broader category or a larger city — very narrow searches in small areas sometimes have few or no matching listings.

Getting an API key error: double-check your SerpApi key is entered correctly in Settings, and confirm your SerpApi account has remaining search quota for the billing period.
